KC Crain

KC Crain is Vice President and Publisher of the world's leading automotive enthusiast publication, Autoweek magazine. He is also the head of the Autoweek Media Group, representing the third generation of the Crain family to have a leadership role over nearly 30 publications owned by Crain Communications Inc.

He has also served as advertising director at Crain and as an automotive reporter for the highly respected automotive trade publication Automotive News.

Crain is a true automotive enthusiast in every sense of the word. He attends various motorsports events throughout the world and enjoys every aspect of the industry, from breaking manufacturer news to participating in local hot-rod shows. He also has a wonderful collection of cars, including the beautiful flat-black ’56 Ford Crown Victoria he appears with in the premiere episode of Autoweek’s Vinsetta Garage. He is, by all accounts, living the automotive lifestyle and defining what it means to be a "car guy."

Courtney Hansen grew up a pit kid on her family-owned raceway. Her famous racing father helped shape her passion for the automobile and for show business. She first attained a devoted worldwide following as the spunky cohost of Overhaulin' with Chip Foose. And now she lends her lifelong car knowledge and automotive pedigree to Autoweek’s Vinsetta Garage.

Dutch Mandel, Autoweek's editorial director, has been with the company for 26 years. He grew up with exotic cars in the garage and is the automotive consultant on the Pixar movie Cars 2.

Editor Wes Raynal has been with Automotive News and Autoweek for most of the past 30 years. His dream garage would hold a 1960s Ford Mustang convertible, a late-'60s Porsche 911 and a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Executive creative director Ken Ross grew up in a General Motors family and has been around the auto industry his entire life. His favorite part of the job is meeting car designers, such as former Ford designer Camilo Pardo, who crafted the GT.

Senior motorsports editor and lifelong racing enthusiast Mac Morrison test-drives and writes about new cars and travels to top-level international racing events. He cites the Porsche 911 and the Ferrari 458 Italia as his favorite cars.

News editor Greg Migliore reported for various Detroit-area publications before joining Autoweek in 2008. Greg enjoys covering auto shows and has traveled to Chicago, Geneva and Frankfurt for the magazine.

Associate editor Jake Lingeman has been with Autoweek since 2006. He can tear down a dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine and rebuild it, and he loves his 1963 Pontiac Star Chief.

Road test editor Jon Wong has been with Autoweek since 2005 and was a subscriber for years prior. Jon cites the Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race in Germany as the coolest event he's ever attended.

Art Director Tara Klein is a Michigan State University alum who likes traditional hot rods, mid-century décor, painting vintage dames and anything metal flake. She looks forward to restoring her 1957 Plymouth Plaza and is typically found at flea markets on the weekends.

Executive editor Roger Hart has been with Autoweek for 12 years. He has traveled from Shanghai to Germany for the magazine. Roger wrote a 2008 book about the Detroit Grand Prix.
